Food services and facilities management company settles FCRA suit

Sodexo, Inc. agreed to settle a suit that alleged the company routinely violated the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) by conducting investigative consumer reports without providing the proper disclosures.

Additionally, the suit also alleged that Sodexo violated the FCRA by failing to provide applicants with a copy of the results of their background check report.

The plaintiff in the case reached a preliminary settlement in September and agreed to dismiss the case with prejudice on Nov. 3. Details of the settlement are currently not available.
